MTS and Sirran Comunications have teamed up to provide a deployable Command, Control, Communications and Compute (C4) solutions for military, law enforcement, peacekeeping and emergency response personnel. Our NOMAD platform delivers instant infrastructure which provides deployed personnel secure, reliable voice, video and data communications anywhere and under virtually any condition. Available in two distinct configurations the NOMAD has no equal in its ability to ensure remote users access to mission critical support data.
Configurations available:
NOMAD-EXSB and NOMAD-C4X.

NOMAD-EX

NOMAD-C4X

If power is out, cell service has been interrupted and phone lines are down, simply power on a Sirran NOMAD Incident Command Unit (EX or C4 Series), quickly establish satellite connectivity or cellular backhaul through an integrated broadband EVDO/3G cellular router and in less than three minutes access critical support data and communicate with mission support personnel anywhere in the world at broadband speeds.

Man-portable and battery powered the NOMAD platform is easily deployed by a single user to create an independent self-configuring, standards-based, non-line-of-sight, wireless mesh network Access Point.  With a coverage radius of between 2 and 50 kilometers (terrain and antenna configuration dependent) the NOMAD network delivers reliable NetCentric operations, when combined with additional NOMAD Incident Command Units or Fortified Tactical Access Points (TAPs), a NOMAD network can be extended for well over 500 kilometers (dependent on the number of Nomad mesh nodes deployed).

Sirran's NOMAD
TM platform has the capability to provide large groups of remote users the ability to make a phone call over the NOMAD NetworkTM, hold a video teleconference, access remote data, and to take command of a challenging situation, even in hostile or remote environments when infrastructure no longer exists.

With NOMAD Tactical Access Point
TM (TAP) technology embedded, the NOMAD Incident Command Platform instantly creates a self-healing, ad-hoc mesh network (700Mhz, 2.4Ghz, 4.9Ghz and 5.8Ghz) capable of providing up to 70Mbps of network bandwidth (per link) over vast geographic areas spanning incident specific locations, entire cities and even state wide. With integrated EVDO/3G Cellular routing capabilities, an embedded Inmarsat BGAN Satellite terminal for redundant network backhaul and a patent pending 24+ hour rechargeable power supply which leverages the latest military battery technology (BB-2590/U), the NOMADTM platform ensures that demanding mobile users, first responders and military personnel ALWAYS have real-time access to communications and mission critical data WHENEVER and WHEREVER needed.
